Thank you Carlos for your informative and inspirational feedback. I really do appreciate it.
In regards to the photo, I was just watching the two of them and Ryan(on the right) was in his own little world day dreaming, and Chris (on the left) was complaining about how tired he is and how hot the weather was. I had my camera handy so I just took a quick shot. It wasn't until I viewed the photo and made it black and white that I realised that the two boys appear to have been in an arguement or fall out. The space between them seems to convey ' a barrier' or dejection from one another. I was very surprised how emotive I felt this image was. At the time, it was taken merely to capture their different thoughts.

One feels tension in the two boys (dejection?) ? maybe they know the photographer is unattainable! Do they both SEE the same thing? Are the ?mixed emotions? the photographer?s or the boys?
This is your best picture ? the self-portraits are pretty in that the model is pretty. But I look forward for more work - your unique take in terms of framing the world, in terms of what you think maybe framable and universal. The horror, beauty, the wonder and mediocrity are to be found everywhere you look - no end or method to the infinite possibilities. As Oscar Wilde said, ?The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible?.
