Yee: This is a geothermic hot pool - water seeps down, gets close to the magma in the earth, and superheats and bubbles up. AS it comes back up, the water dissolves a lot of minerals, like silica. The purity of the water and the dissolved silica gives the water the bluish tone. This pool is very deep, hot, and clear and has a really neat blue color.
