Brad, the only post processing was some sharpening after I resized the image to 800 by 600 for Usefilm. It's 1024 x 768 as shot. The original colour is not bad, but B&W suits this image. I'm rather surprised myself at what this little gadget can do!

The large overhangs are dramatic. No talking while photographing!

Hi Roger, nice perspective and a good level of contrast. I'd like to see some tonal difference between the sky and the roof, but what can you expect from a mobile phone? The quality of it keeps amazing me.
BTW, thanks for your reply, I can see that a phone camera / camera phone can be ideal for candids and street photography. Looking foreward to what you come up with!
Cheers,
Hugo

It's a great photo , Roger ! You should go there with a decent tool and do it again, with a bit content in the shadows of the lhs of the pic, the rest is perfect !

Hi Roger, did you do an post processing on this shot other than a B&W conversion? It really is pressing the limits of the dynamic range of the camera but it looks like you have managed to get a full tonal range.

It was Sunday afternoon, Chris, on the way home from Church... It was unusually deserted, though.

You summed it up well, Roger! But with this kind of shot, with such extremes of light, many a compact digital of 2-3 millions pixels would struggle! Interesting series despite the inevitable drop in quality. Best regards, Chris P.S. It looks like a quiet time of day. Early morning, perhaps? On the dog walk?
