John, thank you for your kind comment on my last post. I'm so glad I discovered you (and your portfolio, which I will look closer at as soon as I have more time) with all those beautiful photos of New Zealand. My daughter and I have travelled both islands last year for 6 weeks. I made the attached picture at Lake Te Anuau (the wheather was wet and foggy) and I think the poles are the same as in your picture! :-))

Thanks Roger. Unfortunately this was as good as it got on this particular day. 100 kilometers from this spot the average rainfall is 7 meters per year. When it rains it rains. Regards John

If you had been there when the light was more from the side, those posts would have stood out better from the more distant lake/mountings. That would have helped the stereoscopic effect, which I always appreciate so highly... That quibble apart, I really like this shot.
