About Taken in the spring of 04, in Brushton, NY. The parent/child relationship is played out regardless of species, gender, or generation. We all want a little attention. Didn't de-saturate completely...but almost. Recommendations welcome.

Brad, an excellent image-love your use of a tight crop to further emphasize the closeness of these animals. I agree the shadows are perfectly placed, and the composition is outstanding. Wonderful~

Hi Brad,I love this shot,i love horses in any case...but this one is outstanding. It`s a pony?
The tones and the shadows work very well for me.
This could be the project the decicive moment.
Kind regards,Ursula

Brad, nice shot.
For me personally the colours dont work, I think I would have gone completly black and white, but thats just me.
Like the shot though, its a good image that shows the strong bond between mother and her foal.

The incredible expression of total repose on the 'parent's face' and the look of complete love and trust from the 'child' is heartachingly beautiful. The detail and lighting are absolutely superb. Exceptional capture Brad. My hat is off to you.

Bradley, I ran across your photo of 'Mentor'. The composition and image brought me in. For me, the shot is a bit over contrasty with blown out highlights and lacking in shadow details. The toning is subtle and seems to work fine here - maybe a bit more would be nice too... Over all, a nice capture. Keep them coming. Sam

Morning Bradley
Unusual desaturation effect (for me, any how!)and I like the slight tinge of green in the background (great DOF, by the way) and the just-so-slight brown on the foal.
Just enough shadow on the mare, avoiding it on her eye. Great focus.
I like the moment of affection you captured - I see that all the time amongst my cats ... the rubbing against each other, the gentle headbutts.
Overall - this is an image that appeals to me. Well done.
Linn

What a shot Brad! I love the playfulness as well as the closeness. No critique here...only admiration of your eye!
