Nice and crisp and sharp for a night shot, hand held Jim. You will have to go and get a shot of the big brother to this tower in Toronto. Somewhere i my negative collection are a couple of shots of the CN Tower in Toronto that I took from a distance the very day that they put the pointy top on it. It was done by airlifting the huge top with one of the most powerfull Sikorsky helicopters in the world. It was quite a sight. Andre

I think the "reflection" you are seeing is the American falls all lit up by the spotlights. Thanks for looking.

Fantastic image Jim, Sharp and detailed with nice perspective. The photo you included also of the fireworks, is really GREAT! The reflection in the water looks like daytime....I'm still trying to figure that out!! But, I love it!! Lori ;)

Gayle,
Thank you, I appreciate the comments. I took a quick look through your portfolio. I particularly like Fushia Nightlife...

Of course. The view from the revolving restaurant is spectacular but I was distracted by the fine diner. I took several shots of the falls from the restaurant (between courses of course :-) but the problem is you are shooting through glass.
I also took a bunch of pictures from the observation deck but the slant of the protective mesh made it difficult to get a stable base to shoot from. Pictures of the falls from the tower taken in daytime are getting a bit hackneyed - they all look like postcards :-) Anyhow, here's a best effort of a night shot from the top.
Thanks for looking and I appreciate the comment.
