Sony, thank you for all your nice comments...
I am so far behind in touching bases with my friends, I wasn't on the site for two days, and now over 200 pictures to look at and admire. And, for some reason the site is going SO SLOW...it's frustrating, kind of like 'watching grass grow'!!
Lori :)

Wonderful job Lori! Just love the color, it's so vivid and so real (you know, pepper was never this good.....) and the composition is just right.... Well, three's a crowd, and four's a pizza... ;-)

Hi Sam, LOL...yes, must be 'another' side of me, actually I like photographing just about anything! Normally I would not be prone to photographing peppers, but I had just bought these at a 'Trader Joe's'...think they were from Holland. They looked perfect, so I thought 'why not'? They don't look like this at my corner grocery store! LOL

But you didn't ask for all this info did you? LOL....
Lori :)

Hi Lori,

How are you doing ? Sorry I'm lost in action for a while, busy with my work... now I can spend a little bit of time visiting our friend's picture :>

Your picture make me feel hungry :> I love this still live, soft tone and the color. Good composition too.

Cheers ! Bobby

Three makes a nice composition. Excellent detail and color. You might try to selectively blur the basket so it would not stand out quite so much. Well presented. Don.

Hello friend Lori!
I adored the colors, its combinations and contrasts! Very good illumination, and good a deep one giving depth without taking off the attention of the main motive! It is an excellent work! Congratulations!

I'd rather be in a crowd than in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!!
Superb shot, Lori ~ everyone's got to shoot peppers at least once in their photographic career!
Best regards, Chris

Ok, Let's see... Hmmmm Peppers, need 2 onions and some celery, Chop into small pieces.. 1/4 cup corn oil on medium heat. Salt and Pepper. Simmer until starting to brown. Add fajita meat and stir until done and serve on flower tortillas...

In this case, three is just right! Glorious colors and lighting! I don't know how you can take something so ordinary and turn it into a piece of art, but you do! Excellent work!

Chris Hunter Chris Hunter   {K:25634} 8/24/2004
A common subject, but Lori you show it in a good light and perspective. As someone who loves to cook, I can't help but think of some sizzling sirloin tips w/ various peppers, and a good night of barbecuing and partying. Good job of portraying a subject which can portray a variety of meaning.

Chris
