Brad, Your welcome, it was honestly my pleasure. I?m not done yet though, I have a few more to comments to write on a few more of your photo?s, and then do a conclusion on the last etc. I want to let you know that, I don?t usually comment, I don?t really have time to, but I?m really enjoying this series. I?m going to put this the best way I know how to right now, I enjoy music, but I?m not a musician. I enjoy art, but I?m not an artist. Brad, Photography is art, and you?re good at it! I?m not a photographer (yet) but I like your style. Thank you for adding me to your friends list, I added you as well. Honestly, My intentions are to a better photographer, I?m hoping you might be able to help me out with that as well as others on this website. Good or bad, all comments and critiques are very welcomed. ~Mike

Michael...Your analysis of my Asylum series leaves me completely speechless. You have taken the time to do more than look....you have put yourself into the composition. You have been generous enough to take the time to consider all of the angles....all of the possibilities. You have done so much more than throw some nice words at it. Thank you SO MUCH for your incredible insight, and thoughtful comments. ....Brad

Brad, evidently, Nurse Ratched doesn?t like cursing. I like the framing of this shot, did you set this up with the drawers? Just wondering. This is a great exposure photographically speaking, textures, tones and all that jazz. Christine skinner said it best here. ?Open cabinets, closed minds. Staggered drawers, lined up zombies. Door ajar, slammed shut rules. Crumbling walls, breakdown, fall apart, decay, total collapse. There is nobody here, was there ever?? ?Christine Skinner

This is a super "chilling" series Brad, I will be revisiting most of these tonight when I am on 12 hour nightshifts. It will certainly keep me awake. I will just make sure the lights are on !

thanks for taking us with you inside the asylum. the whole series is utterly touching - there is such an unbreakably silent tension...

Dear Bradley,
I like the framing you chose and the mild sun that shines through. that sets the viewer a bit back from the scene and gives him some security that he isn't observated. like your style a lot. very creepy and weird stuff going on here. take care, thilo

Hi Tobiah...no I did not have permission. I'm sure that whoever owns this property would NOT want anybody to see the conditions. Thank you for your comments, and your interest.

Brad,
These are wonderfully erie and cold. Yet terribly sad for the same reasons. Great captures and thank you for a glimpse of another world and time.
Out of curiosity... did you get permission to enter the premisse? I've often been chased from such places (none as intriguing as this) by farmers and owners.

I like the point of view from through the door. Also the disorder from the cabinets and drawers being open. Really haunting, I have enjoyed seeing your series~
