About Seen along Las Vegas' Strip in front of the Bellagio. It was near 1 Am and I never did see who left it there. I felt very strange seeing it there. Thanks to Gerhart of Leica for the loan of the equipment used to take the image. Moved to B&W in PS

Great use of black/white. The stroller makes you think up many different stories for an explanation. Good work.

Nice composition brought a few possiblities to my head with varying emetional responses. I have decided that having a child this age one must always prioritize and the chair didn't make it on the essential list for some re-evaluated plan to get home.
The leica with the 1.4 would be my dream and very apt for this project.
Thanks man.

Most unusual and thought-provoking image. Not for the first time, I wish I had the talent that would encourage people to loan me Leica equipment! The wonderful 35/1.4 shows what it can do here--very impressive... I think I might have trimmed both top and bottom a little; top, to eliminate the rather distracting lights on the opposite bank of the river and bottom (just a little) to restore balance by reducing the weight of shadowy foreground. But that's probably my preference for panorama format speaking...

Hi John, Very good lighting and tonal range. The B&W works fin in this image, and especially the buggy adds a nice detail. The thing that grabs me most is the placement of the buggy. If staged, one would place it a bit further away form the railing. It's positon creates a good tension and an atmosphere of abandonment...

I think a lower camera position might've created a bit more impact. The railing would've blocked the oposite bank almost completely, removing the "escape route" for the eye, forcing it on the buggy. Changing the perspective could make it a bit more confronting, which would'nt hurt this shot.

Very well captured, though.

Cheers,

Hugo
