This is a Monet classic landscape to give you an example...... Can you see the difference?

The only thing classic about this image is the old fashion frame around it. Go to a museum and see what classic landscapes look like. Use the rules of thirds, and you need something in the foreground that will draw you attention. There is nothing in the frame to give us a sense of scale.... What do you find interesting in this picture? Why do you think this is a good photo? What are you trying to show the viewer that is special? What is your message? What makes this a classic?
I?m the viewer and I can?t figure out the answers to these questions?.so I think you had a great chance for a great photo with some great lighting potential and that you just snapped a picture and walked away?? take more time and some care?..
