Thanks, Olga..the reason i don't crop this is because i don't take off just on one side in order to maintain the original proportions. Since i would be cropping left and either top or bottom, i would lose area that i don't want to lose. Besides that, i have lived with this image for several months since shooting it and have come to like it as is. Thanks so much for your comment..kat~

Perfect, perfect! To focus more on your subject, why don't you crop the picture a little on the left?( MY opinion of course...)As for the bag on the wall, yes...that's the correct feeling.Very good.

You have more karma points than I do...that's just not fair!!....well, then again....your pics have more substance...OK...I guess you deserve it. This is brilliant. And no, I have nothing clever or useful to add...just....this is good. Colors, comp., school?, sleeping, tired, just plain good.

I found it interesting how much composition will change this image - especially by leaving space in front or behind her. I really like the bag next to the wall - it provides an anchor to reality for her.

I agree, an off centered composition would change everything here. The rough ground is bold and takes a lot of energy. The "arrangement" is great! C.

Kathleen...
I like the color and textures of this shot.Very cool that the red is the only color that jumps at you. I would try recomposing the shot so that the sleeping girl and her bag are positioned more in the bottom right quadrant and more of the textured lawn takes control of the left and top of the shot. Nice job.
