Powerful presentation enhances highly saturated colors. However I am not sure about the inner yellow border, it distracts me from the image. I would have to see the photo without it.

Hi Lori I do think you did a really a good job on matching colors between your photo and the frame
I do like the yellow color and the red in the photo, plus I do like the idea bringing the black color in to the frame
you capture a really nice picture

I can see how it got its name. Another beauty, Lori. I've been all over the southwest and into Mexico a few times but never saw one of these. John should have typed in Mexican hat flower in Goolge. It returned many hits.

Hi John,
I don't know the 'proper' name for this....the sign at the fair said 'Mexican Hat'.....Now you've got me wondering. I'm going to go to Google and click on the 'images' tab, see if I can find it in the picture section. Now I"m curious!!
