Mark, thanks for looking it over. This particular image has a dreamy soft filter over it on purpose. I do have a shot that is sharper, but my clients preferred this one. I would still love to hear your technique for sharpening though. I love learning new things!

You did some nice work on this one to bring it around. I think there is too much softness over the entire image. Do you sharpen your images in PS before you save them as jpg? I notice her eyes and teeth are not sharp and I think they are in focus. I can tell you my technique for sharping if you want. It would give this nice portrait a little more snap.

Beautiful photo...the lighting highlight in her hair and the roughness of the tree tunk draw you intowards the smoothness of "Shandi's" skin. Well done, a wonderful image.

Hi Don! Thanks for commenting. Yes, I saw the hair, and tried cloning it out, but because of the texture in the shirt, it just looked weird. She looked at both, and preferred this version. I did too. I will be sure to check for those things though from now on. Thanks for commenting!

Very nice but if you look closely she has a loose hair laying on her shirt over her right breast.
One thing about portraits look and study your subject for anything out of place. Then do it again before you take the photo.
Other than that nit pick I do enjoy the pose and lighting!
