This reminds me so much of a woman's body. Funny because of course a major theme in photography has been the female nude portrayed as a landscape and here you have captured a landscape that is so evocative of the female form. How cool is that?
This image indeed demands the permanence of film and no manipulation. It is a "pure" place which deserves to be seen exactly as it was found. Great job man, I continue to be entranced by your keen and sensitive vision.

I really appreciate the desire to show it exactly as it was--a fascinating site that clearly merited this treatment. This is a gorgeous image, stunning in its beauty and simplicity. Of course Velvia 50 IS a pretty funky film from some points of view! [grin]
