Paul wonderful composition here. Lighting just beautiful and timed perfectly with sun position. Now how funny...you say if you were serious about this photo you'd crop left side...you must of liked it to upload it! Too hard on yourself, be confident in your work! I'm glad you left the photo the way it is, Paul, and it suits the lyrics. I also use PS rarely, lathogh someone aked me if I had used it on my "Floating manneqin", on which you commented and I thank you for that. I didn't. I did use it on my "Light and love 4"

Well, I really prefer how it is. I think a moment is never come back, so your registered that moment, and it is very nice. Maybe the branches (top left) make some "noise", but it is there, isn?t?! So, that is what make me fell the place.
Well I love the "ha god" and the what can show us.

thanks for the comments.. I did try cropping the left, thinking like you that it would help but it took something away from the image..think it made it too tight..doing some deleting in PS might work.

Dear Paul,
I have been to Sandy Hook several times (when I visited my brother Carlheinz), and it's REALLY great there. You captured a lovely sunset with strong silhouettes so that the light really have the chance to "glow" around. great tonal range within the sky.
Just a minor thing: I would crop the knots on the left (or delete them via PS)... and perhaps someting from the dark foreground. But great one anyway!
