About 2nd one in a mini-serie, posted after a brief discussion. Linn, thanks for that, nice to be able to talk photography frankly.

PS'ed as can be seen, colour slide made B&W, huge adjustments in the Curves. That's it basically.

Let's see what people think of the crop...

Have fun,
Jeroen

I really love this image!

I would never have thought to go in so close and used such a slow shutter with such a large aperture! The resulting depth of field makes this shot. Every bit of your attention is drawn to the child's eye and the reflections in it. The B/W really helps too!

FANTASTIC! I've learned a lot from this image, so thank you.

Chris

I prefer this one...I love the hint of the other eye for some reason...this is so beautiful and I am so inspired by this work! Excellent!

Hi Jeroen, i was attracted to this not only because of the look, but also the name. I thought why call it "both eyes" and only show one! When i opened it up - Wow, i really like it. And i like the provocative crop and title. Great high key effect (never quite worked out how to do this well) and the reflection in the eye is the icing on the cake. Well done. Best wishes from Switzerland - Neil

Hmmm ... the same exquisite reflection!! I love that!!

I prefer the original one Jeroen - I feel that the left eye (the right one on your screen) is "dead". I would have preferred that cropped out.

I do like her out of focus nose bridge and nostrils; as well as the darker tones of her skin in the corners of the image.

This child has stunning eyes and eyelashes. No wonder you were so taken with her :-)

Fabulous work my friend - I honestly hope that you will be posting more of these kind of images.
