Interesting - it looks like the hem of a dress. I have to say that while I love how you can get such wildly varied results from what is basically the same process (i.e. refractions), I don't find this image as engaging as some of your previous attempts. Perhaps it's too rigid and tangible (it's difficult to explain exactly why I feel the way I do about it). On the other hand, I like the subtle texturing in the image and how it goes from somewhat hairy to almost saffrony. Tres cool!

Hey Stefan, you should not tell us what it is. When I saw this one I thought it was wing or a leaf from a flower taken with macro. /Jeanette

Hi Tim - just to explain - the structure you see is all in the piece of glass I put in front of the laser beam, hence the "no camera" info :-)

Interesting stuff, Stefan! This one made me think of the surf washing up on a beach, with the returning currents showing up as the darker lines!

Excellent creative thing you did here! What did you originally photograph whit the 8x10 negative? A curtain? Well if I could rate it would be a 7. Just to let you know.

Hi Stefan, again a very creative experiment. I like the high key in this one. Very impressive how you managed to capture this without camera and lens...;o) I'm kind of torn between what it is I'm looking at.. A lace curtain? or more ink patterns? Either way, the effect is amazing. Very creative shot.
Cheers,
Hugo
