About Another view of Eero Saarinen's elegant main terminal at Dulles Airport.

I used a little Photoshop hocus-pocus to show the light-and-shadow patterns on the caternary ceiling as well as the patterns of the windows.

personally, i like the original with the people, it shows the space of the art and the vastness of the scene. the people stablize the image. nice job.

Great capture, Steve! And I like bren's version, and your alternate take on the same subject. This is what was so good about this site before, and I guess it's coming back to that.

I like it, it's interesting and shows how normal life goes on in the shadow of such a great piece of art. With my great mind I too was going to comment about the abstract and then saw Bren's comment, and then of course yours! All versions look good to me.

Hi Bren,

Thanks for your kind words and your suggestion! You must have read my mind, because I *did* take a more abstract version - here it is :-)

Best regards,
SteveR

P.S. - I really like your cropping on the original, and it might even be better than my more vertical take that I've attached.

Wonderful colours and lines Steve. I think if you cropped a 1/3rd off the bottom (all the people and fixtures, you would have a fantastic abstract image!
