About Just moving the camera within a chives bouquet and shooting with the macro lens. There's no way of looking in the viewfinder. Let's see what the crop has brought.

I was recently told by a pro floral shooting master that stems coming out of frame corners are a no, no. Just as subject shouldn't be centered etc.....I think rules block the creative mind!
This 'pot-luck' shot has come out very well, the flash blur of the bud works a treat. Having mentioned rules are for the breaking, in this case, would have liked the stem moved just a wee, wee bit :)

Very interesting crop and angle ... could have a bit higher colour saturation.

Hi Christian, If I've ever seen a truely dynamic floral, it's bound to be this one. I like the upward angle of photography and the very shallow DOF. The faded whiffs of colour by the petals is excellent. Hinting at what is above the flower stem adds a nice touch of tension. Good crop, and the subtle motion blur makes it very intriguing. Very well captured! (Just hold the camera and shoot creates very interesting shots....;o)

Cheers,

Hugo
