Thanks for your comment on this photo--we actually almost missed this from the road! Carmel is wonderful and scenic. HMB is often cold and foggy, especially during the summer, so I'm not surprised to hear that was your experience. If you visit in the fall it's much warmer (go figure . . .)

Beautiful! In May 2000, (before I had a camera of course), I drove from San Francisco down to Carmel and Santa Cruz. I think that area is probably the most beautiful I've seen. We almost froze at Half Moon Bay, the wind was furious, the waves violent. Santa Cruz was calm and sunny. I'll go back there some day. Until, then, I'll enjoy your portfolio. Thanks.

This has amazing textures and lovely colours. Very rich and warm. You expect to soon come upon a quaint cottage to match the peaceful setting. Excellent capture.

Thanks for your kind comments. Have you been down this road? It's quite a ride from north to south! This bridge completely captivated me, and the area surrounding it was so lush and green, it was so beautiful.

Did you see an elderly gentleman with a big hunking view camera slung over his shoulder? I like your choice of a deeper, richer, and somewhat lower key interpretation on things. Keep it up, please.
