This is facing East..with a very dark sky, due to the approaching storm, just as the sun was setting. As I saw it, the colors were unbelievable, and I am a little dissappointed in the end result, but posted this, hoping to get comments on why the colors did not show as vividly as I saw them at the time.
excellent composition, don't worry abt colours, it's normal in digital photography. Most of digital cameras needs postprocessing as Pam said in PS, or Paint Shop Pro which you can use for free.With some color and contrast adjustments you can find close to original settings. I've tryed to set your photo, but I haven't seen the original location, so maybe it's false.
Gloria nice shot and I know what ya mean about the colors.. I also have that issue when it is fall.... Guess that is where we need to learn photo shop!!! *LOL*
