love this one Alisa .. something sensual about it .. has a mood or emotion that really works .. it has life to it that defines an individual moment you were in - youi took an image of an emotion .. and it's right there to relive and touch - well done...

Hi, Alisa..i just saw you on my friends' list (yeah, too much time on my hands tonight)..and i had no idea who you were. i have no comments sent to you nor you to me so i'll just have to say that this is one of those woo-woo things that are very spooky but nice. Your portfolio is fabulously interesting and i'm starting right here.

i like this a lot. That white building plays a mean peek-a-boo with all those skyscrapers and it took not only the eye to see it but the technique to play it up so well. i like the vignetting effect, it enhances creamy white of the stucco.Your placement dead center of the smaller building says "I'm expensive and i'm worth it". Very interesting and highly original. kat~

Hi Alisa,

totally agree with Petros: this is utterly an abstract; and also it didn't needed the holga action or vignetting.

I do love the formal composition with that diversity of textures.

Best regards,
Sérgio

The vignette really stresses the presence of the white building. I like how it stands out, even in the midst of other interesting shapes and tones.

Nice image Alisa. I like the negative space you have going at the bottom of the screen. I'm not a fan of placing things in the middle of the frame, but this works wonderfully. I do realize that this is an ?architectural? shot, but your point of view is always abstract. Even when you?re not trying.

Was the Holga effect needed? Probably not, as this image could stand on its own, without the effects. Does the Holga effect detract from the overall quality of the image? Not, in my opinion. But as they say, less is more :-)

Well done!
