Exactly Don, it turns to be a 450 mm. A pretty nice bonus for that matter, w/o any loss in aperture. I went to the field with a friend who happens to own an infinite level of gear, like a 400 VR that turns out to be a 600mm, handheld with his D2H. Beautiful sharp detail on a blurred backround. The body is diagonal in the frame & makes for a stunning image. Great work Christian.

Nice and sharp with a great background. That lens would be about 450 mm wouldn't it?? Excelent work. Don.

Another great shot of a preditor bird, looks like a kind of hawk. I like your background too.

Excellent capture. The soft background and it's color help bring this bird to a fine focal point. The detail on the bird is very good. The spot of light on the eye helps keep the eye from blending in and seeming lifeless. Again - Excellent capture. Best Regards Lee
