On second thought, you're probably right Hugo. :-)

Yep, works very well for me too. It leaves the center of attention a bit on the top side, but that's obviously to the artist to decide...;o)

Cheers,

Hugo.

I meant just cloning out the rock, rather than cropping the image.

That's basically what I did, Craig, Nothing changed to the top, left or right side....

Hello Hugo! You are are right about something needing improving. I'm not so sure about either of your cropping ideas though. I think that removing the rock alone may just be the best solution:

Hi Craig, This shot has a very good potential, the reflection hits the spot, and the scene is quite intriguing. I agree with Lee, some work needs to be done to the composition, but I do like the house on the left.

I think I'd go for a "panoramic" crop myself. This implies cropping off the majority of the reflection, though, but i think it balances the composition better. The main point of attraction is on the top half of the image, and the rock on the bottom edge is a bit distracting to the unity of the composition.

Cheers,

Hugo

This is very nice.
Very even and soft colors throughout.
For my personal taste I find the white & yellow on the left takes away from this evenness though.
Perhaps a different crop ?
But still a nice picture.
Best Regards
Lee
Attached is a crop, I'm not sure that this is a good crop but It does show what I mean.
