About
Here we see the "older sister" encouraging the girl who features in the central picture of the three. I think the dancing ladies must have been into the Sake at lunch time, as they look happier and their coordination is all over the place...
Hi Roger, Another Triptych! I'll put my main comments in this one, as I think the composition and interaction between the subjects are the strongest, this would be my favourite, if I had to pick one. The dynamism of the setting is very well captured, also because of the perspective and the diagonal in this one. A difficult lighting to create a strong atmosphere, but I think this one expresses the growing beat and movement the best. Just curious, why did you go for a very wide DOF with f16? With a less sensitive film, you could've reduced the DOF more easily, singling out a more clearly defined "primary subject", and using the out of focus areas to emphasise the atmosphere. I like the consistent style throughout the triptych, a clear reportive style. Well done!
Cheers,
Hugo
PS: Isn't it Triptych in stead of tryptich? Or have I been doing something wrong?
