About Here, for a change, is a B&W of one of my favourite spots on the dogwalk. This was taken on my usual colour film, but I used a plugin that emulated Tri-X with a green filter. I'll be revisiting this spot with an MF camera to see if there's a visible difference at screen resolutions...

Such a beautiful, peaceful looking place and a great place for a dog walk. The tone really shows the play of light and shadows.

It sure has a niece depth to it. So the desaturation is done very well, as it shows also.

the bands of light and shadow give this lots of depth

This works very nicely in B&W. A very peaceful scene, the path leading the viewer gently through it.

Glad you like this, Inji. Your kind remark encouraged me to visit your portfolio again (it's been too long!) and I see you've been doing some good work. Will go back to comment later...
