About This tree is on the grounds of my university's campus and is scheduled for removal soon since it's now dead. I took the photo one October night when the moon was full and behind the tree. It was taken with Fuji Neopan 1600 ASA film and even though the floodlights and moon are burnt out in it, I still really love this image especially how grainy it looks. I can't remember how long the exposure was but I took a series ranging from 1 to 20 seconds. I think this was 5 seconds (note to self: start making notes!). The image shown here has been scanned in from a print I did myself but has been cropped a bit and brightened as well to make the image more accesible from a computer screen. Anyway, if truth be known I was on the way home with a bottle of wine but got sidetracked by the chance to take a photo. That's life I suppose!! Enjoy if you view it, criticise if you can. It's all a lesson to me.
