Tim,

I apologize for not leaving a greater comment on some of your florals yesterday - I was way behind on my friends and wanted to at least look at nearly everything...I was impressed that the effect was achieved without ps and am interested in how it was achieved because to do it without PS always seems more honest even though I will always debate the reality of a photo even if shot head on - we filter - never doubt it - how we compose an image is a filter...

anyhow...if you are interested in sharing your homemade job and how it was created let me know... ;)

since I have never done any IR photography, I can't say much but I do feel this lacks something that I've seen in IR that I like perhaps it is a lack of clarity and of course a great sky is always wonderful in IR...I am afraid this comment wasn't helpful either...

Great picture. You did very well with the compostion, colors and shadows. I also find the contast between the sky and the field of trees very appealing. Well done
