Part of my latest shoot and my digital touchups. I am meeting with the mom soon to try to sell some of these, comments welcome, which do you like and why?
~ Just to comment~ this was not a studio shot. Thats the reasoning I used 200 ISO, these were all taken outside so that explains the lighting as well. This was actually him sitting on a brick wall. I used magnetic lasso, black background and text. Not sure how to flatten it more, I tried blurring the edges. Help on this topic appreciated. And his fingers were cut off in the actual pic, my fault. ~mandy
Looks like cut and paste, use a grey shadow to separate him from the background and his fingers are cut off on his left hand and it's distracting. Would recommend shooting Fuji 400 for studio shots for most of the time you can shoot at f/8 or f/11 depending on your lighting, would look better doing main and fill lighting at different settings on the lights so the lighting is not so flat. He should be resting on his left elbow so he doesn't look so cramped and a forced smile. Work on poses some more if you want shots that will sell...:) Ron
