About The great thing about this old all-manual SLR is that once you have everything set up to go, the shutter responds when you need it too - instantly.

Well, while browsing b/w photos this said I could only critique, so here you have it. I love the child's expressivness and the dof. I dont however care much for the out of focus cup on the left. I think a much tighter crop would have worked in your favor. At any rate, I like the image and thanks for sharing.

So happy she is, so concentrated on someone we cant see. Great! A lovely shot. Du verkar mycket kunnig i olika filmsorter, pressning och framkallning. hur hinner du med allt????

this is wonderful - I love the detail of the adult hand with the fork - I am familiar with that - got to shove the food in whenever the opportunity presents iteslf...wish the hand were more visible...

Great candid portrait. Would work in sepia, too. Good one, Stefan! Carlheinz

A perfect moment preserved. I suspect the Nikkormat will be around after most digitals are in the trash heap.

The photo is an huge moment of joy and surprise... Children are so easy to satisfy and sometimes we forget them... You remembered!
You're right about SLR's! That's why I don't sell my old F70!

Responsive camera, skill to go with it and an eye for "the decisive moment" and you've got it! Love it Stefan. John.

delightful capture. I think children have such honesty in their smiles. Beautiful!

Great shot, and lunch with Zoe looks like it must be a lot of fun. Agreed about shutter-lag. Too many times I have felt like I missed good shots of my grandson because of the delay for focus lock and such. I find myself going back to the manual cameras for situations like this.
Regards,
Randal Dean
