About I have a problem with this picture, and I hope someone can help. The color doesn't pop for me. As you can see I couldn't get a second shot at this one. Can anyone tell me what went wrong. Any suggestions are welcome.

A classic case of overexposure. Easy to do, on a bright, sunny day. The whites get burned, and the colors get weak. Early morning or late afternoon sunlight are best, but I'll bet Raf doesn't care. Looks like his weak grip was also exposed. And they paid him HOW MUCH to come back???

I am certainly no expert but,in my opinion the problem here is the time of day or should I say the light of day.
You have a very harsh sun coming down on your subject who is wearing white (not the best shooting conditions).
You end up with a somewhat washed up photo.
I looked at your portfolio and you have a picture of football players called" 4th and..."
Notice the more vibrant colors in this one,it looks like you shot it on an overcast day, which I think helps bring out the colors in this shot.
You shoul try shooting a flower with the sun out then the same one when the sun goes behind a cloud I think the 2nd shot will have a lot more color saturation than the first,
but please try it and see if you agree.
I hope this helps.
Dave
