HI Gloria,
thnaks for uor comment on my sunset.
I'll give you my thoughts about this photo: I'm a strong believer in the old adagium (that's an english word as well, ins't it?) : Less is More.
Why not got out there again and try to capture just one of those parasols all alone in the beach, maybe with a person stroling on the beach as well. It's just like your 'heron' photo.
But of course your style could be completely different...

I love the vivid colours. Very well done and a nice composition. The lines of the parasols guide the eye nicely towards the horizon. I think you shoul've paid a little more attention to making sure the horizon is horizontal. It is slightly tilted counter clockwise, which is a bit distracting from the scene and the atmosphere. None the less, a very nice and pleasant shot, well done. Welcome to UseFilm!
