About We went to weston-Super-Mare on our day off today! It was miserable! Cold, wet and 'orrible! However, we did find a rather nice Chinese buffet restaurant! And I still managed to take a few snaps!

aside from the great compsition and feeling of melanholy, what gets me here is the color saturation. very nice work!

I have many memories of Weston, from Sunday-school trips on up. Pretty miserable out of season. But this is a really great picture. I'll have to have it in my favourites because it brings back so many happy memories and technically so perfect. Taking my three youngest there was always so much fun... nothing looked tawdry or second rate to THEM! This camera is serving you really well, isn't it! Great depth of field--those distant buildings along the front are as sharp as the nearest bench and support pole. Oh, and the exposure balance is perfect with those illuminated globes looking just "right" and adding interest. Very accomplished!

Very good composition Chris! I really like the 'triad' of reds, great detail and good lines in this image. And the framing is just excellent for it as well with the matting part of the frame matching the pipes (well, I guess they really aren't 'pipes', POLES, whatever they are!!) A very pleasing over photograph! Well done, glad you also found a good buffet!
Lori :)
