Tony, this looks like something I would shoot, and then be disappointed about what I did when I got it back. I tend to try to photograph the entire plant, but with a long stemmed plant like this, the stems just don't add much to the image unless you are a botanist and want to see all the vegetation. I think I'd have shot closer to the blue flower, eliminate the close pink one, and move around so all the background is out of focus pink. Then I'd also shoot plenty of closeups of the pink flowers too. The end result (in my case) would be 3-4 rolls of flower pictures that would bore me silly when I had to edit and caption them!
