About I spotted this hare in a ploughed field and slowly crept closer untill I was about 4 m away. Then she sped off. The first close encounter with a hare ever. They're so hard to spot! I met hare number I and III in 2003.... Comments are more than welcome. Please don't mind the bad JPG quality; this image has been resized a few times too many, but is otherwise not changed from the original.

And hare you are once again! Hopping onto the front page! Good for YOU!!

I've never seen this photograph, I love it. Yes...this indeed would be hard to spot!

Great composition on this one also Hugo!!
Could be a 'tad' sharper, but it still works for me!

Have a great day!
Lori :)

Great camouflage! But surely this hare was a brave lady, otherwise she wouldn't have allowed Wolf to be at 4 m distance. :)

Tough subject & great capture. Cheers

I think it's an interesting shot. However, if your focus was better and the rabbit was in perfect sharpness, I think it would have separated the rabbit from the surroundings much more and been a more powerful shot.

Amazing! The light playing off the hare's coat mirrors the texture of the ground behind it. Great shot!

a nice camoflouge shot - it reminds me of nature paintings where the artists play with texture and camoflouge to create interesting abstracts...

Mary

PS I like your idea of always doing a tryptich - it is a nice tool for your work...

Hey, you've got good eyes! But that's no wonder for a "Wolf" (hehehe).
Great capture, very nice wildlife pic.
