lovely stuff. it reminds me of a place i used to play with my friends when i was young. not that the world was black and white in my day...

Ah, but I can see a cool bit of rust on one of the cross-beams that you were actually concentrating on... ;-)

A more classic scene than we are used to seeing from you. I like this but it doesn't strike me as passionate as some of your other work - it is more contemplative... While I know you aren't all-powerful and cannot move landscape elements, I wish the background were as quiet as the foreground...
Mary
btw congratulations...

I know Harlan what a person likes and what someone else likes is a lot of difference this is a nice image but I like your lastest post a little better. Simple as it is but it is more artist or just strikes me better. Excellent composition.

Lovely snowscene, but I must admit I prefer your favorite to this shot. In this one, the bridge and bush seem to compete for focus, and it loses some energy. Still, fine control of exposure and contrast here.

A beautiful winter scene so perfectly composed and capured! I really like it a lot. I don't know at what time of the day you took this shot but it must have been pretty quiet there, as there are no foot prints on the snow. I think this adds to the image and creates avery nice mood. Looking forward to seeing your favourite from the contest. Whatever you shoot, becomes extra beautiful Wonderful work again, Harlan
