Tongue River just south of the Montana boarder. I like the picture and have tried to crop it a few different ways? I like it, but on the other hand??? Comments?
Dan, I love these cold, crisp, blue sky days. The photo imparts the sensation well. Yr question re digi or film? Hard to give a simple answer, guess it's largely cost (I would have wanted digital SLR plus lenses plus high capacity cards etc.) I understand the digital decision so I wanted to talk with people who decided to stay with film. I was persuaded by the argument that with a decent neg/slide scanner you can easily scan at equivalent of over 10MP. To shoot each digital frame at that size would require huge capacity, slows the camera, etc. That what was what finally did it! I would want the ability to shoot each frame at max size. To do that with digital would be just too expensive for now (4 kids to feed, you know!). Hope that explains, and sorry to have to do it here!
Hey, looks like you had a nice trip out there to Montana, I like this one, looks cold out there. the landscape is perfect, wide open country and mother nature. It?s a great image for our foreign friends here to illustrate just how beautiful our country is?
