Hi Kay, The gymnastics shot from OU was taken with an 85mm f/1.2mm. So, I was on the floor about 20 feet from the beam when I took this photo. As you might imagine, getting in the right spot is critical. Further, the longer lenses don't offer a low enough f=-stop to get these kinds of photos. Anyway, thanks for the kind comments! Dan

Just found this today. This is AWESOME! I have a daughter who was in gymnastics and later competitive cheerleading. I never could get the shots I really wanted. Were you on the floor to get this, or using a very long lens? Great capture!
