About Did a little PS work to clean up the background - I haven't master PS yet, so this is really a test for me... I like the photo, but wasn't able to achieve the result I'd hoped for with PS... But, I do like the photo very much!

Hi Kay, The gymnastics shot from OU was taken with an 85mm f/1.2mm. So, I was on the floor about 20 feet from the beam when I took this photo. As you might imagine, getting in the right spot is critical. Further, the longer lenses don't offer a low enough f=-stop to get these kinds of photos. Anyway, thanks for the kind comments! Dan

Just found this today. This is AWESOME! I have a daughter who was in gymnastics and later competitive cheerleading. I never could get the shots I really wanted. Were you on the floor to get this, or using a very long lens?
