Thanks for the comments... the contrast, or really shadaow values seem to lose detail when scanned and submitted. As a JPEG the images lost its punch so I did add a little contrast in PS so it wasnt so flat. At 11x14 or 16X20 print size the lows have great seperation and detail throughout. Any tips to help maintain that quality? Thanks All.

I love the composition of the image, the waves and how they share.
The only point, I have the impression it's a bit underexposed (or is it an effect of the scanner?). I know, it's difficult to balance a lighty sky and the sand and your work is almost perfect.
Anyway, compliment, really a good shot.

I like this shot! The entire frame is filled quite nicely. Sand, waves, rocks, birds and sky with clouds, it all is very nice. Movement of the water over the rocks and sand gives this a wonderful mood. The way the birds are sitting up there adds an extra element of interest in my opinion. Personally, I would love to see this in color! Great job.

P.S. We all have to live with the J-peg loss of clarity issue. It stinks, I agree.
