Funny, very, very funny (and a LOVELY picture). My neighbours are an older couple, he is Ontario Quebecois, she is Scottish. His English is quite colourful. His parents were francophone farmers in Ontario, so he speaks neither language, just like our Prime Minister. Anyway. He, my neighbour that is, tells me this story about his father's cows getting into the wild roses by the pasture - and that's what I thought of first when I saw your picture, a cow stuck in a rose bush. Now he doesn't like wild roses. Oh well.
This really is a beautiful picture. I've never liked cows very much, but my husband (who also comes from a farming family) thinks they have the most beautiful eyes. I tend to prefer wild roses.
