Great image, tranquil, peaceful and interesting in that it appears to be in an area where refuse is dumped.

A fine golden light distinguishes this image. There's a lot to see, even the old tire in the lower right. A certain mystery as to why the boat is tethered to the fence.

Excelentes la composición, los tonos (que le dan un ambiente fantástico) y el reflejo en el agua. Realmente muy buen trabajo.

Interesting piece, David. Leaves me wondering how the owner gets to his boat without getting wet!
I like the artistic treatment which leaves an interesting atmosphere. I am sure you must have considered cloning the tyre but I wonder because it does provide a kind of balance. Taking it out leaves that space a bit too open so it would also need a crop at the bottom.
Ultimately I would suggest it is left but the colour of it is toned down so it is not competing for attention with the boat. Nice job.

this could also be called "behind the fence".. I looked at all your posted pictures and wanted to say I quite like your sense of esthetic. Well done

Very good one and surely original because of the fence that the boat it tight on it! Pretty ......funny I can say. Surely a very good scane. My best regards, JH.

Bellisima composición, los colores, la saturación, el reflejo, la expresividad son excelentes!!
Solo hay una cosa que me distrae un poco, la llanta en la esquina inferior izquierda.
Muy buen trabajo, mis respetos.

Like the old bambuco...

...Canoita: se me antoja
que bailas en la corriente
bambucos y torbellinos
nacidos en tierra ardiente,
y al cruzar por las orillas
te saludan, cual banderas,
azuladas y amarillas
mariposas volanderas.

Wonderful picture, congratulations, David!

The soft colours and reflection are beautiful. The composition is excellent and I like the rakish lines of the boat.
The weeds in the foreground slightly take my attention off the boat as they seen too sharp. Slightly defocusing them in my opinion would improve your picture. This is my view only and may be completely wrong. Please let me know what you think.

Splendid composition and wonderful golden tones, but IMO the tire at the bottom right should be cloned out. Nonetheless great shot.
Regards, Günter.

absolutely gorgeous. i agree with the tire..it's not too appealing in respect to the rest of the photo. maybe a cropping along the bottom or cloning it out would be good.

Nice golden light. What is that in the lower right? A tire? Maybe it should be cloned out.
