Hey Sony, Thanks for the comment, as for your questions here are my answers as best i can tell you (in my very very humble opinion) For panoramas i really don't have any special technique other than the old digital camera i used for this shot (Casio qv-3500) had a setting for panoramas. It showed the the very last segment of the previous shot as a transparency on the lcd while you lined up the next one. this helped out a lot but obviously the shot is still not perfect. I stitched them together using a panorama program that came with the camera. you simply import the files and it stitches them for you, usually giving satisfactory results if the images were at least close to being lined up. I actually didn't use a tripod for this shot (simply because i didn't have one handy) but it probably would have helped. Anyway i hope this helps you out.

Great panorama picture Dan, how did you do it? I've tried to stitch one but looks ridiculous. Any special technic? Mine was just using a tripod, but unfortonately I use an ultrawide lens, so the joint looks terrible....

Bravo! Being a panorama lover, and finding myself in a tiny minority on usefilm.com, I appaud panoramas wherever I see them! Isn't it a shame that panoramas have to be so small in area! Really prevents them looking their best, doesn't it... I see this has been stitched; you've hidden the joins in the sky very well, although your horizon isn't, er, horizontal. This is extremely difficult to get right (I bought a special bubble level device and then a special panorama head for my tripod to overcome my own problems with keeping the camera level).

This is a nice panoramic. The lighting lacks a little. There is a little symetry with the river and the wall. Nice effect.
