There is such power here... such a charged atmosphere that it speaks to me. I cannot say enough good to do justice to the darkness of the clouds, or the brightness of the water, nor to the converging lines of the waves and sand, nor the simplicity of the capture. This is a perfect photo, taken at the perfect time to catch the understated power of the elements ......without the drama of the actual storm.
I have enjoyed many storms at this stage, and felt their building power. The thumbnail does not do justice to the mood of such spaces in time, and only those who choose to enlarge it, and study it, will get the fiull effect of this wonderful photograph.
