I think that this would have significant impact if toned in black and white...the wire isharp and detailed but does seem to blend to the background...once the main subject has captured the viewers attention it is lost or rathere distracted by the lighter areas in the background above the wire...if you are not opposed to some post work, I think it could be very beneficial here as this is a powerful statement
