Another nice macro! In my opinion, this is one of your best. Brilliant colors, sharp focus. What makes this especially interesting to me is that the butterfly's wing is broken. It gives the image a different personality from all the other "perfect" butterfly pictures out there. My only complaint is the blurry plant in the foreground - it's a little distracting.

Hi Charlie,
Thanks for your comments to my jello photos. I always like nature photos, this one is rich in colour, the butterfly is so sharp, and the composition is also good, a well balanced photo!

Looking through your portfolio and i saw this one. Funny thing is i've taken some macro shots of butterflies feeding on the same bush/plant that this one is. I don't know what it's called but they really like this plant. Anyway another great nature shot
