This one has great composition and depth. The contrast of the colors works great too.

A stunning image! After I clicked the thumbnail I was struck with the overall impact of contrasting color and 3D depth of image ... the almost dizzing array of fruit hanging in space. The branch in the foreground does lead the eye, but I find the subtle line of tree trunks behind it even more provacative, sucking me into the deep grove, then the individual fruits in the foreground pulls me back out. Reminds me of that zooming video effect; when the subject stays static, but the background is zoomed in ... often overdone and gimmicky in teenage horror films, but when done well has great effect. Roger you made it work in 2D, nicely done!!! I know, a wierd critique, but that's my take.

Wonderful photo, Roger - so cool and tranquil! I love the green on the tree trunks set off by that wonderful deep orange of the persimmons and, as Keith said, the way that branch just pulls you in to the scene! Another interesting angle would be from a higher vantage point, looking slightly down, and no sky at all. I have a persimmon in my garden, but have to compete with the birds and the ants if I'm ever to taste one :)

Roger, I can see why this is an area you would want to come back to again and again. Each time capturing a different view. I particularly like the way you have used the branch to lead the eye down underneath the orange canopy of fruits and of into the middle distance.

Wow this one is an amazing shot I will definitely add this to my favorites!!!, now it was just funny that you commented earlier in my gallery that you dont like pitures that seem to be "contrived" or "created", now your creation is just like a fantasy, a natural creation out of the normal conditions, it seems like it was naturally photoshoped by nature.
