Great work Carol, Melanies eyes look fantastic, I like the green it goes good with everything else, I like the composition and the mirror is a the cherry on the cake, really fantastic work - Richard.

Carol; I see this as enigmatic and mysterious, but really like the effects and the mood they create.

Carol:

A superb effect and image combination which, combined your title, is making me seriously apprehensive about the emotional vicissitudes of the Teen Age, which looms just a few months distant. --Jim

An excellent composition. The crop and placement in the frame are perfect. The mood is affecting and is enhanced by the grain and green tone. I think I would tend to prefer it without the distressed overlay but that is probably just my personal bias-a very nice portrait overall.

Such a thoughtful and poignant image, Carol. There's something significant about the deep green eye's within the scratched and textured surfaces, and a dichotomy within reflections. Emotional and, to me, profound. Profound and haunting. Well done.
