A classical example how a simple composition may be visually very powerful! Excellent composition and tonality.

Natalie, I've been looking through your portfolio and I really like this one. The composition with the wooden bridge leading the eye away is great. I think B&W was a good choice too. I would get rid of the vignetting altogether using software. Another thing to have tried (maybe too late now) is to mount your camera on a tripod and use a multi second exposure to make the water look peaceful and flat. This would make the boat shed really stand out unbelievably. My silly opinion, anyway. Well done.

A bit overexposed and I think the vignetting is not added but the result of an oversized hood for the lens. I actually like the effect as it does look like it was shot with a pinhole as eric mentioned.

Is that the one just past the brewery? Looks nice in black and white and very singular with the centred composition. Vignetting looks a little strong.

at first glance it appears that this picture was taken with a Diana or a pinhole camera. I don't know if you were going for that effect, but I like it.

greate photo, what makes it more special I think is the "framing" the gray-ness in the corners. Otherwise I think that the picture might have been to bright. Good Work!

Simple...but very effective with a strong graphical impression. Great choice of b&w.
