And a special note for Andrew. To begin with, thanks for an interesting comment. The picture is darkened in ps, the orginal is a litte bit lighter and have a little bit more details on the walls etcetera. Perhaps not as much as you are asking for. Personally I like this darker version better, but I will bring your comment with me next time I go there - I will return to this place. I am not finished with it yet :)

High reflective surfaces and shooting into harsh light; very difficult to meter. personally I'd overexpose a little to bring out more detail in the walls and increase the halo effect around the people. They would still be heavily shadowed, you might loose some of the detail of the door frame but the increase in detail around the tunel would be a great improvement. I recon you could risk two stops up, bracketed one stop to be sure.

I like this photo a lot. The silouetts, the reflections on the walls and ceiling, and the lights on the side make for a very cool photo.
