About I saw this young man observing me as I was taking photos at an event and I was struck by his dignity and self-possession. To me he seemed like a lost prince.

Strong portrait! Would be better if corners where darker. (That is my opinion of course)! Composition is perfect. Very symmetrical! I like the square format. Use to work with Blad. The B&W gives your picture a special dimension. Very nice. Greetz.

Hey, we made front page news! And I am very glad, because your comments and observations on my photo were wonderful. I can't name what I do (and I am not sure if that is my job, really), but when other people do, it helps me hone my vision enormously.

That being said. Your Prince is, indeed a Prince. It does not surprise me that youu saw him and photographed him so beautifully (your tones are alwasy so wonderful) but what's astonishing to me is that you captured that very expression and conveyed it so well.

He does, indeed, look regal!

Tiro Leander   {K:19060} 9/17/2003
It's truly a great portrait.. The expression in his face are so well captured, and he seems a bit lost with the background. This is excellent. Congrats

Hi David, it is a wonderful black and white picture, a master photo. The first i recognized it is a analogue picture. Not a digital. Digital pictures can't bring this tone, this sharpness. Fore my viewing is also a good example is a valuable picture for education. You must know i am a teacher :-)).
For m a small blemish ypu should cut it on the upper part a little bit more
However it is nevertheless an excellent picture, congratulation
greetings from Rolf Rock (rolfrock@slovanet.sk)

Thanks !!!
